The City of Phoenix, a champion of promoting clean energy, created Solar Phoenix 2. This program, made possible by a $25 million special financing fund, encouraged homeowners in Phoenix and the surrounding areas to adopt clean, solar energy on their homes, and included options for low and moderate-income homeowners. The program is now complete, however, those interested in converting to solar may still contact the programs partner, Paramount Solar, to see how they can start saving money on their electric bills in the very first month of service with no upfront cash investment.
